	1300年の歴史がある和紙産地、岐阜県美濃のメーカー「株式会社林工芸」とデザインスタジオ「yuruliku DESIGN」が、新しいブランド「KAMICAGO（カミカゴ）」を立ち上げました。　 Hayashi Kougei Inc., a manufacturer located in Mino , Gifu prefecture in Japan, where it has a history of 1,300 years of traditional papermaking, and yuruliku DESIGN have launched a new brand “KAMICAGO”.
	紙は、私たちの暮らしの中で、とても身近な存在です。そんな紙（KAMI）の糸で織り上げた生地を使って、暮らしに馴染むような新しい籠（CAGO）をつくりたい、という想いで「KAMICAGO」と名付けました。「KAGO」ではなく「CAGO」なのは、運ぶ（carry）と積み荷（cargo）の頭文字からとりました。日々の暮らしの中にある、大切なモノを運ぶ道具を提案していきます。　 Paper is a very familiar material in our everyday lives. We wanted to create a new kind of “basket”(CAGO) that becomes comfortable with one’s daily life using paper(KAMI): a fabric woven of paper yarns, therefore naming the brand KAMICAGO. We used “C” for CAGO instead of “K”, which is the appropriate transliterated Roman alphabet, to emphasize the meaning of “carry” and “cargo” to the word “basket”. KAMICAGO will provide a line of products that will allow you to carry your personal goods in your everyday life.
	KAMICAGOは、短冊状の美濃和紙を撚った糸で織り上げた「紙布」を使用しています。紙のような風合いが特徴の生地は、とても丈夫で、通気性がよく、吸湿性、保温性にも優れています。また、水にも強く、洗濯も可能です。（※洗濯の際は、取り扱い方法をご参照ください。）　 KAMICAGO is made of pulp cloth: a fabric woven of yarns formed by twisted strip of Mino “washi” paper. This fabric, which features paper texture, is very strong with excellent breathability, moisture-absorbent, and heat retention. It is also water-resistant and washable.

At its factory located in Suwa, surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Mino, products are manufactured from the beginning: making Japanese paper “washi”, conducting iron and woodwork, applying paint, to its final process of lantern making.

釣りの道具・魚籠（びく）をイメージした開口部は、丸く開くため、出し入れがスムーズです。
巾着のフタがついているので、外出時も安心して使用できます。
また、ショルダーテープを取り外し、壁にかけて状差しや小物入れとして使用することもできます。
